  This church faithfully teaches the truths of the Bible.
  
  In the Sunday morning services, the pastor preaches directly out of the Bible, verse-by-verse. The music includes a blended collection of hymns, and modern choruses, led by a praise team. Sunday School classes are offered to enhance the Biblical instruction. Childcare is provided. Prayer, Missionary updeates, and Scripture readings are also a part of the weekly services.
  
  Children are well-cared for at CBC. AWANA clubs are offered, as well as a youth group for Junior and Senior High students. In the summer, the VBS is always a favorite event for local children.
  
  From time to time, supplementary support groups for adults are offered. A Divorce Care group, Dave Ramsey's Finacial Peace class, Discipleship courses, Marriage and Family Seminars, and more are offered regularly, on rotation.
  
  If you are looking for a Bible-centered church, Calvary Bible Church might be for you!

  While it's been awhile, I saw this come up and felt the need to rate. Went here as was new to the area and was invited by friends. Nobody was friendly to us. I gave my phone number to help out in the nursery as I had a three year old and love children. Someone named Becky called me-when I got there on that Sunday I introduced myself in person and she said "Oh, you're not who I thought you were" and walked away from me. My jaw dropped. I busied myself with my daughter and the other children, while the ladies stood and talked among themselves. This was in the spring.
  As Christmas approached, I received a call from a girl (our church friend's sister) asking if we'd like to donate money towards a fund that they were putting together for the pastor. I said yes and she asked who I was(??) I told her and she said she'd called the wrong people on her list. I said that was ok-we'd still like to donate and she replied "no, that's ok" and hung up.
  I know that we were new and people look forward to seeing friends at church, so I tried to overlook the aloofness and went out of my way to try and find some common ground, but after being repeatedly brushed off, I'd finally had enough.
  This was some years back. Pastor Bob was there (still?) but this church came to mind when a friend recently made a comment that just because one attends church faithfully, does not automatically made them a good Christian.
  I finally found my place in a church that didn't let me walk through the doors without a greeting or a smile. Everyone speaks to everyone. People welcomed me as a potential new member. I felt the love of God there.
  I never once recognized God in your house. He never said hello or smiled at us. It was very lonely there. So glad we left...
